DC5 TypeR Recaro's in a DC2 ITR
Can it be easily done?
Some may remember my previous thread.
My car arrived from Yokohama, with certain choice bits removed. This included the original wheels, some braces and the Recaros. The Recaros were replaced with Integra SIR-G blue cloth seats.
For the most part, through a long and exhaustive process, I've recovered many parts, but owing to its size, shipping seats has been out of the question. Sourcing locally is of course impossible. These cars were never available locally, and as such, parts aren't either.
Now, a set of imported DC5 TypeR seats are available. I'd like to have opinions on the look and fit in a DC2 ITR.
Bear in mind, to fit, all I'll have are the DC5 seats with their rails, and the seats I currently have in the car. Additionally, the seller has a set of Megan rails.
Info please!!!

Thank you...
I don't have DC2 Recaro rails. Just the DC5 rails, the Megan rails, and the SIR-G seats, that I could technically remove the rails from.
Strangely enough, these DC5 seats were being used in an EK civic. The guy had imported EK9 recaro rails to fit them in. They fitted onto the seats, but sat too far inward and didn't line up on the actual Civic chassis. Now I know the difference between the dc2 and ek9 rail is just one bolt hole, so if the dc5 seats didn't fit directly into his car with ek9 recaro rails, surely they won't fit in my car with dc2 rails?

Only other question is, does anybody have a set for sale?

Really does make me far more comfortable with my purchase, having actually seen this work.
The factory plastics don't fit? Does the occupancy sensor work? Do the DC5 recaros have occupancy sensors on both sides, or just the drivers side?
