I don't like having 240cc injectors...

I don't know what Honda was thinking putting such big injectors in a tiny 1.6...

For gods sake B16, B18 has the same injectors and are way bigger/ high performance...

I wanna put 180-190cc (y7) in the My Y8

Will it run right? Won't it just fire a but more at idle? I hardly redline do I don't think it will really be a problem right?

I wouldn't... besides 240cc doesn't mean it's dumping fuel at the rate look into injector duty cycle

 

Ya know what? I bet they would have used 190s if it made sense to.

 

It will throw a code for fuel system too rich/lean after while. There's nothing wrong with the 240cc injectors and switching to 190cc injectors wont save you any gas.

 

Not only will it not save you any gas, you'll have to run the injectors running at a higher duty cycle than they should, reducing their service life, and you'll be leaning out your motor, reducing it's service life.

 

Confirmed to not work, ecu will throw a code for running lean, and I don't mean gangsta lean.
