My RHD SSBP Build.
currently in the process of building a RHD 98 SSBP GSR. before this I had a 2000 Civic Si. the Si taught me many lessons, as I was fortunate enough it was my first car and happened to be my first Honda. anyways, picked up this 98 SSBP. currently being rebuilt from the ground up.

car came with no swap, mismatched engine bay color due to the RHD conversion, no rear disc brakes, came on EG front spindles, mismatched interior pieces. nevertheless, still a good build. stay tuned.

UPDATE: the engine bay has been painted, SSBP of course.

also convinced the previous owner to throw in some GSR spindles as part of the agreement we had. got new OEM Timken bearings pressed in, ARP Extended wheel studs pressed in, Moog Lower Ball Joints, both outer tie rods were replaced with Moog ones, and I sprayed my spindles black, for the time being.

also, I have replaced every worn OEM bushing, with an Energy Suspension replacement. starting from the front LCA, to the Rack and Pinion, when I mean, everything, I mean it, haha.

I will be throwing in a B20z for the time being, along with a GSR trans. eventually I will be slapping on a GSR head instead of a B16 head, to raise the cc and probably run ITR cams and ITR pistons for street use, also get some Golden Eagle rods. my main goal is to have around 210 WHP and I'll be more than happy. I eventually want to be on a nano nitrous shot, but that's later on and go B20V turbo aswell, on about 8 PSI, nothing more, but that's wayyyyyyy down the road. I have a Highend tri-y header from my previous build that I will throw on as well and a Whale ***** intake aswell, a SK2 Intake Manifold and 2.5 inch piping, with a tune, of course.

Post some more pics. Wanna see alla dat ssbp!
yeah, I know man , I should have just said low boost, haha. but yeah, the build is going great so far. I definitely will be, I'm actually going to finish installing my Blox Front Endlinks today (yes, I know they suck, lol, JHPUSA was back ordered until next month) and my LCA.
Curious as to why nothing was really removed prior to painting the bay. Could have unbolted the prop valve and moved it out and covered it and the lines in tin foil, heck even the plastic tray in the battery mount is painted, not to mention the fuel filter.
I mean aside from that it looks nice enough, the right hand drive aspect is pretty cool. Looks like it'll be a fun project. But seriously, that paint on those parts doe.

it was on halt due to some obscurities on the Right Hand Drive conversion being illegal, but I confirmed with some other RHD owners and contacted some CHP officers I train with at their Academy and they said as long as all the VINS match and it is not unsafe to drive on the highway, I should not have an issue.
