Oh wow I want the Mobile App, just to be able to monitor without plugging in the laptop. Let me guess, no way to make this work with Version 2?
Yes, it can go up to 4 hours now. Read up on this link:

PS - Whoops, MTBER already posted that, oh well.

Hondata's website says its a "plug in module". Does that mean its user installable? I have a socketed ecu from Phearable and am curious if it's "plug in" in that manner.
it a plug in model for the people who already have the older version, and not it not going to accept a socketed ecu that was meant for eprom chip as I'm assuming you have, but every hondata does come with a kit that need to be solder in to accept the board.
Thanks for the clarification Frost!
I have a spare p28 chipped ecu can I just buy the new s300 and install it on my existing ecu without any further modification?
yes you can but without modification no! your going to have to carefully desolder the chip you have then solder in the new part that come in the kit to accept the hondata board.
Is hondata gonna offer a upgrade to the V3. I have a V1 and was hoping I would be able to upgrade to the V3.

Why not sell the v1 for $350 and save $100.
BTW the Hondata app is not available yet for iOS.

hi i want to get a hondata s300 and been researching about these program for a while. this is a newer version.
will this still be the same program when tuning like the calibrations maps etc? and im reading the hondata S300 guide. will the instructions on tuning program be the same? whats the main difference between the older v2 version? will i be still able to hook it up with a laptop and run my car while tuning? can i tune the hondata s300 with a Mac book pro computer. and lastly if i have a older hondata S300 v2 map already tuned like say from a friend can i upload it to the new hondata S300 v3 and use that set of map? or like lets say base maps from the older version.
please let me know

You should really read the links. V3 basically just has Bluetooth and a few other features added. It's not much different than V2 as a whole. According to Hondata the only thing that doesn't transfer over is the wideband tables. You really should read more on this subject.
