ASAP help for coilovers...
brainfart.......
longer ones go in front?? my friend got some cheap aerospeed coilovers...
the shorter coilover say 500p on them, and the longer ones say 400p (which probably dont mean nothing).

hmm.... well we put the longer ones in the fron and well no hieght difference at allll.. and they ride real bumpy. ima put the shorter once in the front to see whats up. but what do you expect they are aerospeed.
IMO, a spring's a spring. The difference is in spring rate and whether they hold that rate (and shape) over time.
Don't attribute a bumpy ride to them being "arospeed's". Attribute it to his shocks not being able to handle the higher spring rates. On my car (93 hatch) I need longer springs in the front than I do in the rear.

he just called me and told me he has no susp at all... every thing is bumpy as hell..... i am going to try to switch the coilovers... should i worry about those rubber stops?? i have installed coilovers many times on integras.. this is a 91 accord, no difference. its the first time this has happened.
I would definitely leave some bumpstop in there. If it's lowered a lot then you might want to cut them some, but I'd never run without them entirely.
I've never worked on an accord either.

its quite possible the springs are so stiff as to accomodate a 4" drop that the factory shocks are not up to the task of controlling them....
