hey, im tryin to primer my car soon, then later paint it. I asked my uncles neighbor that works at some shop and he told me around 400.00 for just the primer, not labor included. Does the primer in the can come out lookin chitty? is there a cheaper way?

 

Well that must me some magical primer
Primer to spray my entire car inside, engine bay and out was probably less than $150 and thats with multiple sprays after wetsanding. It would have cost less if I had bought it all at once too.

 

400 for labor sounds okay
with dent removal, scratch removal, bondo(sp)..
dont do it yourself, prep work is very important..leave it to the pro.
unless you low on cash..
