Default ITR insurance

Do any of you ITR owners have a policy with a collector car insurance company? My ITR is not daily driven and parked in a garage. I called Hagerty, but they don't consider is a classic/collector car.

I have USAA, and tried through them, but they wouldn't cover it because I don't have a car built within the last 10 years as a daily driver. I guess the Evo doesn't count, or is right at that threshold. They think you will default straight to the "Collector Car", even if other cars are an option in the driveway.

You may want to ask your current insurance carrier about Restricted/Limited Use Classic classification. Not all offer it but most do. They may want an appraisal (my carrier did) and they will restrict annual mileage.
