I had a DC years ago with the 2.5" collector. My only complaint was the ceramic coating eventually comes of and the header will rust. If you're going to get one make sure you get the stainless model.

OP: Jumping from a 5Zigen to a DC, assuming the 2.5" collector remains the same for both, won't change much in performance. Look into Toda, Hytech or SMSP for a high quality header that delivers results. Or you can purchase a replica of the above mentioned designs and you should still see a difference but the reps suffer from horrible fitment and welds.

That's not entirely true... I picked up a PLM Toda knock off last year and the welds were VERY nice. Only fitment issue was ~1mm too much material on the bottom of the flange to the head.

I hear ya. I run the PLM RMF knock off with no issues and the welds and fitment were decent. The bang for buck factor is undeniable. I just didn't want to promote it as being close to equal quality to the real part it was being copied from as the two factors I mentioned are common issues I've seen people write about after installation.

Toda is the best off the shelf unit, HyTech and SMSP are the top choices for their unmatched performance. All three are top quality.

I have recently been hearing good things about PLM. I am considering a purchase for my 97'.
