Just bought a 1994 Honda Civic Ex
Hello all,
I have recently bought a Honda Civic Ex 94 and I'm working on it with a friend of mine. We have recently lost brake pressure and have replaced a number of parts including: rear calipers and brake pads, master cylinder, and brake booster. We have ensured all air has been cleared from the lines and are still not experiencing any brake pressure when the vehicle is started. We are convinced that the issue lies within the ABS brake system and have checked the fuse box under the hood as well as changed out the ABS control unit in the trunk. Unfortunately the dummy ABS light in the dash is not working so we are not able to read any codes. We are going to purchase a current/ pin reader as an alternative in hopes to read codes through currents running to the control unit. If anyone has any ideas as to what we should try next I would appreciate some feedback. I'm excited I found this site and hope to gain some useful Honda Knowledge! Thanks!!! Feel free to comment!
