How do you remove/replace this?
I need to replace the Integrated Control Unit on my fuse box and need to know a couple of things if anyone is familiar with it. 1st off, I assume I should remove at least the neg. battery terminal cable but is it better/safer to remove the Pos. as well before working on this? Next, I thought I'd go through a dry run so the replacement goes quicker when it gets here and I'll be darned if I could release/unplug the 2 terminals that go into the side of the ICU. Meaning, I could not see or feel the usual "tabs" that have to be depressed in order to unhook/unplug them. Mind you, I'm lying on my back with next to no room to move and can barely get fingers back in there to squeeze and pull on the terminals so I'm probably just missing what I'm looking for. Lastly....if and when I manage to get those 2 terminals unplugged how do I remove the ICU itself? I don't see any screws or anything else holding it onto the fuse box. Is it just snapped into place? If so, how does one unsnap/release it?
I have searched here and YouTube for pics or videos relating to this procedure to no avail so any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks very much.

It's not easy at all but it's removable. You have to pull back a couple tabs and then slide something into the top part and pray it out. I have a spare in my car and will look at it in the afternoon when I wake up. You don't really need to unplug anything. It just disconnects right out.
I'd appreciate that very much. BTW, here's a couple pics to help explain what I'm referring to. The pic of the actual unit I'm getting doesn't have a side view some I'm including a pic of a very similar ICU for a 92' Honda just so you can see what I'm talking about. The 2nd pic is the actual unit that I bought. The only difference between the two is that the one for my only has 2 terminals plugged into the side. Does this help?

No, trust me, it's the the inside fuse panel on drivers side floor/wall area. The one under the hood is smaller, boxier, and has a lid that covers the whole thing. My Front Windshield wipers and Washer quit working. I've tested for power coming from the battery side and confirmed I'm getting 12 volts. I have jumped the Wiper Motor directly from the battery in the different modes....Hi/Lo and the motor worked fine. Just to be sure I was doing things right I bought a used Wiper motor any way. Same exact thing...via the wiper switch with car on no go. I jumped that motor as well to verify that it worked. It did and I returned it. Mind you, before all of that I checked the #6 30 amp fuse in the inside fuse box (the ONLY one that relates to the wipers) and it's fine, but I replaced it with a new one any way just to be sure. Still a no go. Lastly I did a continuity test on the switch itself (on the steering column) and not sure if I did it correctly but believe I did and was not getting continuity in any of the positions. So I figured it was the switch. Bought a brand new one (ouch) put it in and still a no go. That only leaves one thing as far as I know and from I've read...the Integrated Control Unit that all that goes through on the fuse box. I say the "only thing left" because unlike any Honda Accord a year older than mine (90' and older) which has a separate square/rectangle Relay on the inside fuse box mine doesn't. Also,on most every Honda Accord a year or more newer than mine (92' and up) there is a a similar square/rectangle relay UNDER the physical fuse box under the hood. I did discover a relay exactly like that under my fuse box in the engine compartment but there is no reference to it on the fuse box having anything to do with wipers etc. Actually no reference at all. Also, neither my Haynes or Chilton says there's a wiper relay there. Actually they don't reference ANY relay being under there. Both the Haynes and Chilton manuals say that besides the #6 30 amp fuse on the inside fuse box the ONLY thing that controls the intermittent wipers etc., is via the Integrated Control unit which is housed/connected directly on the fuse box (see picture #2). So if that's not it then I'm even more stumped than I was before.
Oh....I also checked and cleaned (with some steel wool) the g301 ground thing-a-ma-jig that folks referred to. The connection to the frame was already nice and clean but did this anyway. Still a no go. So at this point I would think it would have to be the ICU. Any other ideas?

Ok, no one is responding to my questions any more but thought I'd update this just in case someone decides to take pity on me and give me some other ideas as to where to look or what I can check cuz I am plum out of ideas. Obviously I have not gotten the issue figured out or fixed yet. I will re-list everything I have done up to this point if that helps...
1.) Checked and replaced #6 Fuse just to be safe.
2.) Checked Wiper Motor by jumping directly from car battery. It works.
3.) Bought and tried a new Wiper motor (and returned
) It didn't work either.
4.) Checked the plug that comes from the battery to make sure there is juice flowing. There is.
5.) Checked the different pins on the plug coming from the Wiper Motor for continuity. There is.
6.) Bought and tried a new Wiper Switch, and that didn't work. Returning it.
7.) Bought and tried a known working used Integrated Control Unit. Didn't work. Returning it.
8.) Removed, inspected, and cleaned the G301 ground unit/plug. It was clean and had a clean connection but cleaned it again anyway. Still a no go.
I may have tried a couple other things but can't think of them right now. Also, as mentioned in earlier post according to 2 manuals and a official Honda Shop Manual there are no other "specific" wiper relays. There are plenty of generic "power relays" that supposedly control/affect various things, but none of those "things" are specified. I mention this only because deep down my gut tells me that it is in fact some sort of bad relay or at least a short some where. Also, I still find it weird that the rear window wiper as well as the washer works. I was thinking that the same fuses or relay must run both and started to pull one relay at a time to see if I could get the rear wiper to stop working but so far no go. I'm sure if I pull the #6 30 amp fuse it would stop but that's all I can think of to try right now. I'm really stumped folks and could really use some help.
Thanks
