so the previous owner repaint the rear tailgate(jobber place) but the taping job was crappy. today i noticed that the paint has goes on the molding windshield but im not able to remove it,,the paint is fusionned in it and also the paint is ''cracked'' at the edge of the molding/hatch panel,,


there anyway to change this molding??

 

you can, its expensive and have to remove rear glass

 

damm!!! weird situation,,ill try to find how to resolve this without spend a lot $$$$

ive got a quote to remove the rear window and reinstall(170$can),,so i have to find the oem molding,,here in canada there are no oem website dealer,,and local dealer are crazy on price

 

Have you tried taking paint thinner to the moulding to get the paint off?

 

yes and the rubber come with the paint
