Default Crx headlight issue/HID issue?

Hey guys
I have a crx shell that I installed HID's into and all was working fine the first night but I also did a battery relocation during this time and since the battery relocation has been done the passenger side HID will not turn on?
I have swapped over the known working bulb and ballast from the other side and still same problem. I have also checked the under dash low beam fuses and they are good. I ground down the chassis where the headlight ground goes trying to get a better connection thinking that may be the problem. Still nothing. Also if I put a regular halogen bulb in the stock housing it will work fine? Any thoughts?

sounds like you need a voltmeter to check for good voltage. some electronics will not work at low voltage, but everything else will work correctly.

Attach the volt meter to the +/- wires and see what voltage you are getting at the plug.
make sure your getting 12v

But my stock bulbs still work so doesn't that rule out the fact that I'm getting power or no?

OK so I took your advice and checked voltage at the low beam plug even tho the stock halogen bulb works and I came up with 11.6 volts. This is the same power that is coming direct off the battery so that means I'm good there right? What can I check next?

I'd check the quality of the grounds, HiD setup need very strong ground to work properly

Your battery is dead!
A good battery will measure 12.6v-12.8v,
An weak battery will measure 12.4v-12.6v,

Yours is very dead.

It's got to be a ground and/or wiring issue, I don't think directly related to the battery if one side still works.

Connect the voltmeter + cable to the red cable that's running into the HID module, and ground the black; see what the voltage is, something might of simply come lose.
