Default hardrace LCA

just purchased some hardrace rear LCA for my dc2.

now the question is,

which endlinks are you guys using, idk if this applies to all aftermarket LCA, because my stock swaybar/endlinks are too low for the holes to line up.

im guessing i need shorter endlinks? was looking at the hardrace sway bar endlinks but idk if they are shorter or the same size/height as the stock endlinks.

thanks

Call jhpusa and ask. They sell all this stuff. I have heard about the adjustable spherical bearing type wearing out fast though. (blox)

How is the construction on the hardrace?

How are the bushings compared to stock?

Blox bushings are garbage. You'll want to call Hardrace if you have Hardrace products. Are you using the stock swaybar?

You should be able to loosen the d-brackets that hold the sway bar and swivel the bar.

I won't deal with JHPUSA anymore either. When I bought my subframe and stuff from them, it was all gravy until I needed help with endlinks on to my EK.

They told me to drill out my ITR swaybar endlink mounting point to fit the endlinks they sold me, which I didn't even need to drill out. They failed to mention to me to just remove the OEM bushing and get the ASR bushing adapters to use the larger M8 bolts instead of the M6 OEM ITR bolts.

Blox uses absolutely the worst rod ends possible for their endlink set, and the set that I bought way back when didn't even come with complete/correct hardware. I seriously just threw them in the trash before ever even using them.

The PWDJM/PCI links look to be about the best going for a pre-made set of adjustable links, I made my own misalignment spacers on a lathe, copied their bar end adapter, and used Aurora rod ends for effectively the same result:

**Note that the lower misalignment spacer really should be longer to straighten the link more, but I'm concerned about applying too much bending stress to the bolt.

Sorry for the blurry pic, it's hard to take good shots of the bottom of the car with no lift

ASR spherical endlinks, OEM, or Hardrace endlinks. Never heard anything bad about the Password JDM ones but I would assume ASR & Hardrace are higher quality.

Anyone that recommends blox needs to be slapped.
JHP recommend blox to me, and they were toast in way less than year.

I REALLY wish someone would make an adjustable end link that aren't spherical for these cars.

hardrace makes non-spherical type endlinks.

I'm aware of that, you missed a key part of that post. Adjustable. Hardrace endlinks are non adjustable.

Same here. Rod ends suck on a street car, even good ones.

I concur, blox endlinks are low quality for sure. Had mine on for a few weeks
got under the car while it was on lift. And they were rusted to sh*t. Plan on replacing them w/ quality product in the near future.
