My car is a 1998 Honda civic LX 1.6L.

The situation is that the car will start once and then die within seconds. After that it will crank but not start. It does the rumble (idk what else to call it) like it's about to start but it never does. The day before, it started but ran really rough as well as throing a CEL. I isolated this problem to the spark plugs. I went to go get spark plugs and the car wouldnt start. I replaced the spark plugs (couldnt afford wires but verified they work) but the car still didnt start so i have to assume it's a seperate issue because the CEL has gone away. I replaced the ignition coil and the car started for a second and died. Same deal as before i replaced it.

I have verified:
Spark plug wires work
I have fuel up to the filter

What I've replaced recently:
Ignition coil
Spark plugs
Ignition rotor
Distributor cap

My father and i are stumped on what it may be. Keep in mind, i cant afford much as i JUST got back to work. We have tried dry gas as well because we got a lot of moisture here in ohio recently.
