Default after trans swap. 1/2/R are rough

Hey guys. Just finished swapping an auto JDM trans into my girlfriends 99 Accord 2.3. Im so completely burnt out and I hate the car now lol but anyway, got it all together and having some issue with 1st, 2nd and reverse. if you put it into D or reverse it takes a second then finally clunks into gear. same thing when you come to a stop. takes a minutes to downshift into first then it clunks in. 2nd gear as well is a little rough. Now im not sure if the new fluid just needs to be circulated more? How much should these things take? I put a little in the torque converted too but wasn't sure how much was suppose to go in. Other then that all the other gears are pretty good. But I do have this high pitched squeal on the passenger side too. Sounds like a tea kettle that's boiling. only does it above 15mph. any ideas? im about to set this damn car on fire lol

Was this a used trans? If so, drain and refill the trans at least three times. Fluid is probably 60K miles old and has been sitting in a cold warehouse, and probably has some moisture from condensation.
Recheck all your work. Make sure you stub axle nuts are properly torqued, check all the other nuts/bolts. And check your brakes. It may just be a dragging pad/sticking caliper.
