Default (GSR?) brake pads (pics)

I purchased 93 hatch with a gsr engine. The PO told me it had had gsr rotor and calibers. The GSR rotors I bought fit fine but the GSR brake pads do not.

I'm assuming the old pad was the one that was on there ? they seem the same size but the little guide that it slides in the caliper on is different, what brand are they AK seems like a no name.

good idea. I would like to narrow it down if at all possible to say 2 or 3 choices. If I ask him to show me all the brake pads for civics/integras I think they are going to show me the door.

My car does NOT have abs. Sorry I did not mention that.

My car does not have any numbers there or the PO sanded it down and painted over with some flaky read paint and I can no longer find the number.

Thank you everybody. With your guys help I was able to narrow it down to a
1999 Civic EX 2 door coupe.

NOT GSR

My receipt says pfc 0465.21

If you look at the pfc website it "looks like" my pads are used on a lot of honda/acura.

thanks for the extra info Delsol95 on brake up grades in post #13.

My car had a spongy pedal. I just upgrade my master cylnder before my track event to
15/16th. What PITA to find. hahaha. My brakes still are not as good as I would like them
for the track. I guess I will have to save up for some aftermarket brakes.

Sounds like you need to bleed the lines a few times. It took 3-4 after i did my caliper swap to get a nice pedal feel.
