Default need help passing smog test

So I just moved to SoCal after living in Washington and never had to deal with smog or emissions up there. Got my car registered here in Cali and now I need to pass smog to get new tabs for my 95 civic.I took it to a shop to get it done but as soon as the dude opened my hood he said my car wouldn't pass I have a B16a any thoughts of what I could do to pass? Any input helps.... Thanks

Try another shop, or make it look like stock as much as possible. Stock airbox, make sure you have a cat converter with proper o2 sensors.

You need to BAR your motor. Stock ECU for the motor and all emission equipment. If you have a JDM motor it will not pass ever.
