Default 2003 Element Immobilizer light flashing and wont start

Hello, I have a 2003 Honda Element. This morning I went outside to go and leave for work. I put the key in and it cranks but will not fire up. Immobilizer green light is blinking constantly as well as the "p" parking shifter light on my dash stays on as well. Both will continue to happen even if the key is removed completely. I had to disconnect the battery because it would not turn off. I also wanted to see if any codes would come up and it gave me a "permanent 30-01" code. I went to two Honda dealers and an auto zone and really no one had any idea. I was told it could be my keys but I tried both my keys and neither worked. Starter is not even two months old as well. I am at a complete lose and need some serious help.

Sounds like the (drawing a blank on the actual name) antennae that picks up the signal from the key. Try putting your spare key right up against the ecu and start the car with the other one...... I think it's all internal in the ecu if I remember right.

Thanks, but I just went outside around three after having the car's battery disconnected for at least 4 hours and decided to jiggle the coil packs. Then for giggles reconnected the battery to see if the "p" light and the immobilizer light came on and they didn't. Tried starting the car up and started up right away sounded a little rough but started good. Any ideas what's going on could it be something funny like the coil packs??

the problem i mentioned can be intermittent. "jiggling the coilpacks" would do nothing. its possible moisture got into the spark plug tubes and evaporated some which is why it started again.

Engine runs rough because the ECU was reset being unplugged that long and has to relearn how to run nice. I also second the radio chip in the ignition (or key) as not working correctly, therefore not letting the car start.
