Default Question about some nuts...

I need to replace the 4 nuts that go on top of the struts. You guys know what I'm talking about right? I believe they are 12mm there 2 on each strut. The buggers are seized on and I need new ones. I just want to know I am getting the right pitch. If anyone could help it would be greatly appreciated.

Make, model, year? (Somebody didn't read the forum rules and FAQs)

If they're OEM you can go to the dealer and pay like $2 each. Or go to the online dealer, like here: http://www.hondapartscheap.com/index.php?p=home or here: http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/home.htm

Other than that, you can take them off then match threads at the hardware store. Ace Hardware is really good at being able to match just about anything. *Make sure to get the strongest grade possible.

It isn't gonna hurt anything. I put it on everything.

That's a deal. Will those valve Cover bolts fit a d16y7?

And. You have the forks for the front struts?

Antiseize wouldn't be a bad idea, especially as it can be difficult to get them to release without damaging the shock rod (since you might have to grip it pretty tightly). I also put Vaseline on them to keep the rust away.

I'll try that too. No rust sounds like a pretty good thing!
