I am doing some work to my brother in-laws car and he said he had the transmission replaced a couple of years ago.

Well I got the engine/trans assembly out and sitting on the garage floor and it hits me, P20 A000 is not the correct code for a 98 Civic Ex.

It would be nice to know whether its a Cx/Vx trans or Dx/Lx trans.

I know there are a couple of D series transmission guru's, so can someone help me identify this transmission.

Markings on the transmission housing:
S20-(Barcode label)
P20/A000(cast)
C5E(black stamp)
