Are the backs of the driver and passenger seat interchangeable?
I like the way the passenger seat curves with my back, better support, and was wondering if it would match up with the bolt holes on the bottom of the driver seat

Is there a way to add an image from a mobile device to a thread? Otherwise I can email you.
They're the original eg civic seats.
Hell if I had to, I'd just switch the whole seat around, just trying to avoid that lol

Yes, you can swap the seat backs.

Ok cool, are there just two screws or bolts in the side that releases them under the plastic covers, or is there more to it

It's a bit more complicated than that, but it really is just a bunch of nuts and bolts. Unbolt The plastics, unbolt the frame rails, and you'll be able to easily separate the seat back.

Hmm, I am skeptical of this, especially having disassembled EG seats in the past ... but maybe I am misunderstanding what he wants to do. However, the fixed headrest design plus the different bolt pattern on either side of the seat backs suggest to me they won't swap from side to side...

You are completely correct, however you could cut a new hole in the passenger seat for the headrest. Lol
What I did was just took the driver seat completely apart. Took the pad off the back skeleton, and bent one of the braces where I liked it and welded so it wouldn't deform or what not.
So with that said, I am quite pleased aside from having false info that resulting me in taking both seats completely apart piece*by piece and having to reassemble them. Lol

Well I like leather seats, but not in the summer days for as my car is a matte black, with all black interior. Lol
But I'm keeping my eg seats because they're the originals with absolutely no wear or tear on them, I like it that way. Lol

I was just going from parts diagrams. The rear pans should be able to swap, but even if you can't, you should just be able to swap the cushy stuff between the pan and the cloth.

As far as the head rests, I assumed you would have realized that the little arm attaching them to the seat back would go from the outsides to the insides. I'm sorry for assuming spatial awareness.

Yeah, I have '03 CL Sport seats in my Civic. Absolutely ******* love them. Power adjusted and heated, black leather, never sat in anything more comfortable. If I ever find another seat at a junk yard, I'll be turning it into a desk chair. I had a how-to for fitting them in 96-00 Civics under my old screen name, and the write-up should still be fairly easy to find. I believe I linked to it in my current build thread, as well.
