Well, I will start the "who is coming" thread here.....was planning to come down from Iowa to run the FWD class. Is there anyone who has been to this event before that has any tricks to finding the place? Specific track rules? Things to do? Things not to do? Best place to stay the night before?

There's not a whole lot of Wichita racers that post regularly. Why not give the track a call and ask them?

 

Track is easy to find. Directions on www.KIDragway.com They're fairly lenient with safety regulations (common sense tech). Not much to do in Wichita... we're staying at the Kansas Star casino.

I should be there in fwd class, should be good weather and a good turn out! The track is actually Noth West of Wichia in Maize but wichita is very close, id suggest stying somewhere in west wichita if you want a short drive to the track.

ill be there supporting my boy sloan (tuhboek) and brotato racing.. since car wont be done
the track is pretty lenient with safety regulations like cliff said. never had a hassle only a few times about my kill switch but they still let me run.

any pics of your car 641iowaguy641? did you buy 85mmeks old integra shell?

 

Don't really have any good pics of my car, but yeah its 85mmek's old integra. Made really good power on the dyno, but haven't got it dialed in yet. Wanted to bring the car back to its old stomping grounds. Look for me, I'll be the guy not really having any clue what he's doing.

 

Gonna have the Brotato racing/finishing lines integra out again this year. Maybe we can keep a tranny in it long enough to get some passes this time
