Hey guys, I'm new to Honda's, I just recently bought a 93 civic hatchback. With a b18b1 swap. Currently having problems, it is knocking but I am working on frying to find out the issue. My daily driver is a 09 Subaru impreza wrx. I'm trying to build this eg for the track. I am currently in the usmc stationed in Beaufort sc.

Your probably already know but knocking usually originates from the bottom end of the engine. Rods, Pistons, Crank area.If you are planning on a track car get a b18b1 master rebuild kit and tare it down and build it back up so you know for sure what the internals conditions are. It could be something as little as a bearing or as big as a crack journal being slightly eccentric. Anyway good luck.
