Shop says my LS will be in next week!
The motor is coming out of a 91 LS. I know the newer LS's are better, but is the 91
going to do the job. I'm expecting good torque. I have a 91 stock CRXsi sitting on some 00SI wheels. I'm all hyped up!!

Define "is the 91 going to do the job."
It's a little less power than the 92+, but it's OBD-O and easier to install due to this fact. You should be very happy with the engine, I hear B18's are really fun in ED's.

your going to like it man dont u worry haha and its EF not ED lol
Are you rebuilding the motor? How many miles are on it?
In the future it will be a turbo. What are some things I could do to the engine.
As far as rebuilding it?
If youre going to turbo it, keep the ls tranny...it will be better for boost. At least keep it around for when you have the turbo. As far as rebuilding..depends on the mileage. Change the water pump, and the timing belt, get the compression checked. If you dont have high mileage dont worry about a rebuild. I have a B18b and I really like it.
