I think a intake (like Mugen) would be a better idea.

Skip the CF valve covers, intakes, battery tie downs, etc...

Can someone make an affordable 94-97 or 98+ OEM lip in CF?

There's not a lot of weight savings there. How about a CF intake manifold? It would have weight savings and lower intake temperature.

Checked out the web site , your shop looks sweet!

I know carbon fiber has great strength to weight properties, but I've never considered it tolerable to high temp applications.

A better explination on how it would reduce engine temp is needed. Any compairison tests and tech specs are helpful.

Probably only 0.1% of the people in this board would care if it looks really cool. But if you can prove that is actually improves overall engine performance, then you'll get a much better response on price considerations.

You have no idea how difficult it is to mold carbon fiber.
You have high material cost and extensive labor into a quality product. It's not going to be cheap unless it's built cheap. (my .02$)

That's disgusting. It might cost $50 in Taiwan, but this is Emerica.

I think you'd be surprised....

Just think how many people have JDM shift boots, CF hoods, JDM conversions, Spoon reservoir covers, etc etc.

I think its more like .1% would buy it for its performance qualities.

Regardless, I cant imagine it would be worth the amount of money it would cost...for a CF valve cover...money is spent a LOT better elsewhere.
