I searched the forum, didnt find anything that matches my question, I did search google an found answers. I am just creating this topic to confirm, because I know HT has alot of experience people.


I have stock muffler (exhaust) system on my hatch I was wondering if I put a auto zone muffler tip on my car, would it increase the loudness?

I know the right way to achieve this, but I am curious to see if just putting on a tip would do the trick, crappy or not.

 

no it has NO affect on the baffling inside it, want louder but NO gain cut the muffler off you'll be like every other kid.

Those muffler tips are just for cosmetic purposes only, my friend.
