Ok, so here's the deal so far...before winter got really cold in WI my civic was turning over and running just fine. I stored it into the garage over the winter and it got pretty cold a few months earlier (ex:-20). I started up the car a once or twice a week, but when it got really cold, it just wouldn't start. As of right now with the weather warming up, now my civic won't start, BUT IT IS CRANKING BUT WON'T TURN OVER.

ANY IDEAS WHAT THEY PROBLEM IS???? ANYTHING WILL HELP!

What was the problem

 

I think it was because of cold weather. Question? Could it be because of a mechanically bad engine as well? Heard a knock some what but I'm no smart mechanic so I'm unsure. I think it might be, but I hope that isn't the problem because I seriously do not want to take it apart. But if I have to...gotta do what I gotta do then..

 

If it is a rod knock, what needs replacing?

 

Main bearings, other things possibly if something goes really wrong.
