How a Blue Demon is made...(PICTURE HEAVY)
Well my first and only paint job for awhile was done at my school in Texas, about 3-4 years ago. I am finally throwing a motor in so I am back in the Honda scene. Just wanted to share with y'all a restoration almost completed. I have hundreds of pictures throughout the process but ill just throw some up here.
As you might have seen on some of my other posts, before:

And after major body work, new fender and new hood.
My passanger side door had a hammer taken to it with hundreds of fn dents. all fixed up and door protectors were welded flat and worked into the body.

What color was it originally? The door/trunk jams didn't get painted did they?
EDIT: Realized that post was a little negative sounding. The color came out great, that's for sure.

Thanks and yes of course they got painted!! They were the first thing along with the engine bay and the trunk. The car was originally a plum purple! Haha The passenger side door had this insane paint job straight outta a fast and furious movie with about five different colors and crazy line designs.

Thanks!! And I masked everything from the back reaching through a little hole then masked the hole off haha. Easily one of the most difficult things to mask on it!!
Is that a metalic?
I always use 3M green or gold masking tape, its holds up very well and stays in place. Sometimes ill give where I am masking a quick wipe with some wax and grease remover.
