So I have a knocking rod in my D16y7, bought a D16y7 from an HX with a Vtec-E Head. Think is I am not knowledgeable on how to do the swap.

I have read tons of stuff went through tons of dead links and text's with no pictures.

My car has AC and PS, now the real question is where do I start? What do I remove to get the engine out? Do I just start randomly ripping apart headers and wires?

I will have a hoist to take the engine out but what do I have to start removing to get the engine free?

Also with the other engine should I be opening it up to clean the pistons etc? What should I do to clean it or just drop it in?

Feel free to link me to information pictures would be great, seems like a big hassle to my sorry, I just don't know where to start.
