H23 trans to H22A4 block?
hows it guys, i have a 00' BB6 auto w/sportronic(POS). the trans is trashed so i recently picked up a 93 lude whole for parts. Its a has a H23 non-V motor w/manual trans. So im looking to do a auto to manual swap, i know that most H-series are interchangeable. But will i have to fab mounts and swap out axels for the most part? Any other possible issues i might run into? Ive been trynna research it but theres mostly threads on H23 Vtech swaps not concerning with my question.
Any help will be greatly appreciated thank you.

The only issue with mounting a manual trans onto the block would be if you had an SH model with the ATTS unit. If that was the case, you would need to make a bracket for the halfshaft there.
If you want to use the parts from a 93, you might still need a brake/ clutch pedal setup and wiring from a newer car i.e. 97+, and you will need the shifter assembly from the newer car as well. The axles and mounts should all work for you along with the tranny, clutch, and flywheel.

Thank you, see I knew I wouldve ran into other issues. Damn so I cant use the shifter assembly n all that lol, so much for buying a whole car for parts.
The best thing to do would be go someplace that sells parts online, and check out the part numbers for the various years and see if they change. You may be lucky, or may have to source a few more parts.
i read up on one of the stickies in this section. A guy used a 4th gen linkage to a 5th gen, it stated that im likely to drill to compensate the bolt up.
