ej6 coupe in desperate need of a proper set of shoes
guys ive been running shoddy tires on a mixture of stock steels and 17x8 motegis (heavy af)
i want to spend a good bit of money on a set of wider wheels (15x7ish) with new tires
just getting through a really bad winter season. it's starting to warm up and i think the worst of the snow is over this time. ill prlly get a nice set of dry summer tires. anyone like a specific type of tire?
i need some good light rims that i can use for the rest of my life unless i destroy them. something dark that matches red/black trim of my coupe
but its important that you can rub up against curbs and be rough on them without worrying about ruining or scratching the rim
i dont know anything about this but i want the rubber tire to stick out more than the rim itself.
these rims would be sick on my civic

need some input from others on this one, been without a nice set of tires for a long time and im sick of it. i need to get a nice set thatll last me

the most important things
- wide contact patch for better driving stability
- light and strong good reusable rims for
- fat tire that can hit huge pot holes no problem
- need to feel safe and not worry about my tire blowing at 150 mph
Well, as for sizing, those look like 16x7 Rota Slipstreams, which are a +35 or so offset. And, I'd wager that they're 205's on there as well.
As for an opinion on designs, I'd recommend going to the Appearance/Cosmetic forum for advice.
