Rims?!?!?
I have a 4 dr, 2000 Civic LX. I amd planning on getting rims but I wanted to run a idea by you guys and see what you guys thought. I was thinking that I should get a set of 14's and put some winter tires on the for the upcoming winter and then save up and get 16's with low profile tires to ride on in the summer. Or should I just get 16s and ride with low pros all year round? I don't want my car sliding in the snow, what do you guys think I should do? Would low profile tires give me trouble in the winter? Is it a good idea to have two sets?
Thank you guys in advance, you always give good advice.

Re: Rims?!?!? (vtecb18c)
sliding around and whatnot in the snow has a lot to do with how wide your tires are, in the snow you want to consentrate all your weight into the smallest area possible otherwise your car will just ride ontop of the snow and you will be sliding all over the place, a good set of snow tires is also required to get the best possible traction, low profile tires have little to do with traction in the snow
