Anyone build one? (Dumb question, I know I've seen a couple here and there). We have a pretty good industrial surplus here locally, so getting some steel and welding something up is not out of the question, but I'd kind of like it to be at least partially bolt-together so I can break it down enough to get it in the attic when I'm done.
Doesn't need to be anything fancy, I'll just need to be able to get the car out of the garage with no suspension for working on the bottom side... stripping undercoat, pressure wash, paint, etc.
I'd like to see what you folks have come up with

We just used some square tubing with some castors bolt on. Drilled some "slider" holes in it so you can run bolts through it wherever need be to attach it to whichever chassis you're working on.

Probably going to build something like the first pic. I have neither the length nor the ceiling height for a rotisserie in my standard 2-car garage... Although I would live to have one some day!

There's always NASCAR surplus on ebay
But yeah, I spend a ton of time digging around at skycraft too. Good way to spend a Saturday morning.

the nascar surplus stuff on ebay is incredible. a local guy that races baja trucks has about 12 v6 crate motors from when nascar tried the whole v6 thing. practically gave them away on ebay.
