Default Wrong ECU?

I have a 1995 Accord
2.2L
F22B
5-Speed Manual
nonVTEC

I just pulled my ECU out looking at something and I have this number
37820-P0J-L00

In looking it says this is a Civic ECU
http://wikitest.pgmfi.org/twiki/bin/...efinitionCodes

Am I seeing this correctly?
Would a Civic ECU work in my car?

Any help is appreciated. Which ECU should i have?

Looking at that list the P0J is an OBD2 (96-97) Accord. It's the very first one listed. However with a quick Google search of "37820-P0J-L00" it comes up as a 95 Accord Non VTEC 5spd ECU.

As far as Non VTEC SOHC F22B2 2.2L OBD1 Accord ECU's go. I'm pretty sure your ECU can be ether a P0B or P0J.

If im looking to buy another stock ECU, which numbers do I need to make sure are the same? Also, does it matter that its a F22B (JDM) and not a F22B2 as you referred too?

Could this be causing any of the other issues with my car jerking at 2500rpms or my error code 14 im getting?

Plus, theres no way it could be OBD2 with OBD1 plug ins right?

What JDM F22B do you have in your car? There are 3 different JDM F22B engines.

2.2L SOHC Non VTEC
2.2L SOHC VTEC
2.2L DOHC Non VTEC

Code 14 is an error for the IAC valve, if it is not wired up correctly it could cause issues with idle, it's not going to cause your car to jerk at 2500 rpm though.

What ECU is in the car depends on what harness is being used. If this is an OBD2 swap then it very well could be that they also used OBD2 wire harness or a conversion harness between the OBD1 connectors and the ECU.

OBD1 has 2 rows of wires on the connectors where OBD2 have 3 rows.

2.2 SOHC nonVTEC

--This is not an OBD swap
--My harness if for my car with 1 exception. This harness has the plug-ins for ABS brakes and my Accord doesnt have ABS.
-Ive also read that the error 14 could be caused by the ECU being faulty in that area. Im thinking ECU because my old dashboard wiring harness had a bad short in it which is why i changed it out.

-How would the IACV not be wired correctly?

What does the engine stamp say exactly ? F22B F22B1 OR F22B2 ?

If you have an F22B2 your ecu should be either 37820-P0B-A01 or 37820-P0J-L00

If your car is bucking or jerking at cruise, check your EGR system.
If over 100K miles, the EGR ports may be plugged, clean them. Accord FAQ at the top of the page has a how to for 94-97s.
IAC only controls idle speed. It would not affect how the engine runs off idle. Unless it was removed altogether, then you would have an air/vacuum leak.

Engine stamp says: F22B
This motor was just installed about 6 months ago.
It is a motor from Japan thats supposed to have less than 50k in miles

Ive cleaned the EGR's
Changed the IACV and FITV

The jerking im assuming might be a "dead spot" in my TPS. Waiting to get a OHMs meter to check it.

My idle issue (error code 14) is this. When i put the car in neutral and begin to slow down the cars RPM's will climb up to about 2000-3000 rpms. When the car is just about at a complete stop the idle will drop to where its supposed to be.

That ecu is actually correct for your car and engine assuming the engine is non vtec.
