First of all, hey there, Honda-Tech community. Nice to meet you!

Last week, I bought myself a 93 Del Sol S. Very clean car, not a whole lotta rust, but the previous owner left the keys in the trunk one time, which meant they had to break the lock.

Now the trunk won't latch (they did that on purpose so the trunk wouldn't close shut) and there's no easy way to engage it. I've seen a few guides and how-tos on how to add a trunk release as the 93 never had one, but I'm wondering which would be easier to do- add a trunk release from a Civic/Prelude, or get the lock mechanism replaced? The lock cylinder, albeit broken, is still in the car. I haven't gone to Honda about it yet as the stealership never really gives much insight anyway.

It's not a huge issue as the trunk doesn't flap all over the place but I'd like to get it sorted within the next couple of months as I don't want to keep putting groceries and valuables in the passenger seat. If I go the way of a trunk release, anyone know where I could grab one online?
