Default Constant Gas Smell in Cabin

car is 92 accord. I have constant gas smell inside cabin. In morning when i open the car i can smell the gas. It would be great if someone can help me with possible causes.

Done so far.

1. Filler Neck
Inspected Filler Neck. Had some RUST inside and outside. But approximately six inches in length only. I scratched with sand paper to make sure there was no leak. Filled the complete pipe to observe leaks or seepage but nothing.

2. Checked Pipes for leaks but none.
3. Two way valve has one connection going to something connected to center of the tank but the next point which should goto EVAP Canister is left Open. Canister was removed. Should I block the Pipe ? Should i leave it or block it ?

Any Other thing i should look at? if it was fuel line leak then the pressure due to fuel pump should make drops fall on ground but nothing. This is really making me nuts.

If you open windows more smell comes inside.

If Blower is Off can Fuel Injector leak cause Smell Inside car?

FPR is new

There is no Canister in the car. The pipe that goes to it from gas tank is removed and blocked.

Is there any possibility if return like fuel leak because it is not pressurized

When you drive air in the engine bay will leak into the cabin, especially if you have refresh mode on.

I would think not having a canister is likely your issue.

afnan the purpose of the charcoal canister is to absorb and reburn fuel vapors. Without the canister you are going to smell fuel. You do not want to plug the hoses as this will create a vacuum inside the gas tank, the fuel pump will then either be no longer to pump fuel due to the vacuum created, or it will implode the tank.

Well in this regard i have two questions.

1. Is it possible to take any cars canister and install it because unfortunately no body keeps these here. Or you can tell if any newer honda models may work with it.

2. My gas tank cap has fuel breather regulator. which allows one way air travel to gas tank at certain vacuum.

I don't know what the differences may be from model to model or year to year. But it may be safe to say that a similar year Honda automobile would have a similar canister(EVAP) system. If the number of ports is the same you may be able to use it like the original unit.
