the tps is held in by rivet so would I drill it out and replace it or what ?

 

take a dremel and cut a groove in the center of it and make it look like a flathead screw. Then just unscrew it.

 

don't forget to calibrate the new one

 

what tools do I need to calibrate it ?

 

check the faqs at the top of this forum for links to threads for how to calibrate the tps or do a search

sometimes the tps and map sensor connectors get accidentally swapped ... check and see just to be on the safe side
