Beware !!! H22a Gates Racing Timing Belt crack only 800km travelled and no high rev above 4000 at all as I was breaking in my engine. See attachment. And worse the seller tell me that racing timing belt no warranty I wonder is it a knock off or is gates racing timing belt is of low quality. I spent usd119 this is what I get. See photo below. Thank for viewing. Please think before buying.



What Racing Timing Belt is this quality worse then oem timing belt? Any Gates Dealer here ???

too much tension? ive got a gates belt in my motor, and i know lots of people that run it with no issues.

 

This guy also has a beware of Weisco Pistons, next we will see a beware for rods, bearings, etc...

You are aware that Gates MADE the timing belts for Honda? Of course there are bad parts in EVERYTHING EVER made. Not all 100% of everyones products are going to be non-defective. Maybe if this happened a couple times with the same type of belt, for the same motor would it seem like a bad product.

 

I think you need to find a new engine builder.

 

beware of any parts h23all is selling and stay away from his engine builder.

 

You and your "engine builder" needs a new hobby...
