Default Alignment needed after top hat change?

I have a 2001 integra coupe and i was wondering if i need an alignment after changing all 4 top hats.

I have koni/gc on oem top hats right now and i plan to get the gc top hats.

Thanks

The top hat alone will not change the alignment, but a ride height change will.

^ this

its ride height that changes toe.

toe IS your alignment.

HOWEVER, inherently by swapping top hats alone, and thus raising the piston rod of the shock up, and provided you are just removing available droop, that in itself wont change your ride height.

it theoretically shouldnt.

but i wouldnt be surprised if you had to make adjustments to get the same ride height you had before because the two upper perches arent quite the same thickness either.

Thats exactly what i was thinking too. Either way, its probably best to do an alignment since i just got new tires too.

its always a good time to get a new alignment with new tires anyway.

And with the relative cheapness of the lifetime alignment deals out there. Id go 5 time s season if they were available here
