F22B2: Coolant system diagram?
Hey guys,
I've searched and came up empty (though I did find one for the F22A1 https://honda-tech.com/forums/showth...system+diagram). Does anyone have a link to the coolant hose diagram for a 1997 Accord LX (F22B2)?
Back story:
Just this morning as I pulled into work and got out of my car, I heard the unmistakable sound of a coolant leak. Naturally, I popped the hood and the leak seemed to be coming from the passenger's side area near the firewall. Unfortunately I had an obstructed view so I couldn't tell exactly where it was coming from. I was lucky. The leak seemed to have just happened moments earlier as my car didn't over heat (I checked the gauge).
Next step is to schedule a tow truck and leave work early so I can work on my car. But it would be a great benefit if I had a diagram
Thanks in advance,
M-

Majestic Honda has part diagrams. Click on the link in my sig and input your cars year/submodel/engine/trans etc
Check your heater hoses, heater control valve, O ring to the back of the waterpump, water pipe to the water pump/thermostat housing etc. These are all located on the firewall side of the engine. Removal of the rubber hose between the air cleaner and throttle body will allow you to see better.
