90 CRX - ICU / Lights
So, I had to put a whole new chassis harness in my crx due to my other being badly burned. When I pulled the donor one from the crx in the junkyard, I decided to just cut the left and right portion of the harness that runs down the side of the engine bay to the lights ect.
I am currently in the process of soldering them back together to my car. I've noticed there are a few wires that have doubles of the same color. So I just twisted the ones that have doubles to the matching other side (in case something doesn't work and I need to swap them)
Well, I have so far done only the driver side harness, and my Headlight, and bumper blinker works, but my side marker (running light) doesn't. I have checked over and over the wiring, trying every different combination, and even tried to read voltage from the wires and I get nothing.
My question, does the other side of the harness need to be completed for it to work? Also, I did the "checks" to see if my ICU is messed up, my wipers barely move. They move like half an inch, wait....then move half an inch again. No fluid motion.
So just wondering, does the other side (passenger side) of the lights harness need to be connected for things to work properly?
Or is there something else I can check?
Thanks in advance
