92-95 EG EDM headlights and rear foglight install
Ok I have a set of EDM headlights that come with adjustable bulbs and daytime running lights/city lights. I have had the guy whom I bought it off, send me the whole wiring for both the headlights and the rear fog. I know that DESCHLONG I believe has a DIY link concerning both things. But I have pictures of the harness I have and would like to know what would I need from the harness. If anybody has a information please feel free to inform me. Thanks in advance. God Bless.

It's somewhat hard to tell what you've got here but a cursory glance suggests you've got the correct bits and pieces. Can you mock it up as you would for installing the wiring in the car? That might be more helpful, and would identify if anything was omitted.
Ok tomorrow after work I will give it a shot. Thanks Deschlong.

I can check to see if I still have my notes and diagrams from my install on my external HDD. I will check tomorrow and let you know.
Thanks guys. I appreciate it. When I get off work today, I will try to take better pics and do a mock like Deschlong requested.
I figured it would be to complicated to type out everything. So I just tried making a video explaining and showing things to my best capabilities. Please watch and respond back thank you again guys.

0:10 - Yes, headlight level switch, fits in armrest/e-brake cover
0:20 - Yes, "floor" harness that goes to rear; it runs from the fuse box between driver's seat and side sill.
0:30 - Plugs to fuse box.
0:51 - What you're pointing at here is the female side of the junction connector behind the driver's side rear quarter panel.
1:21 - What you're holding here are the "City Lights" connectors.
1:25 - No, these are the connectors for the headlight levellers.
1:33 - I believe this is the junction connector that is from high up in the driver's footwell, and going to the under-hood harness.
1:42 - I believe the connectors here in front of you connect to the fuse box (pretty much anything that's a green connector, is for the fuse box.
2:14 - Correct.
2:24 - Yes, I suspect that is the rear harness, which connects to the junction connector mentioned at 0:51.
You may be missing (or it is not mentioned) the wires that go from the fuse box to the rear fog light switch in your dash. Also, ensure you have the wiring that goes from the headlight leveller switch all the way to the passenger's side headlight (this will be quite long).
Finally, I will have some questions for you about which pins the wires for these features use as they pass through their respective junction connectors. Been wondering about this for a long time and would like to have the mystery solved, and you're just the guy to do this for me.

Well as soon as I get on starting this project up. I will start looking at the pins as you requested. I probably will have this electrical guy my cousin works with at his shop look at it. So Deschlong here's one more question I hope it's yes lol. Can I just take what I need from theses harnesses and add them to mine ? Or would I have to modify my floor harness ?

Nope, hardest part was pulling the wiring through the firewall grommet. But I was installing OEM side markers at the same time, so I ran all of the wiring together and pulled it through the firewall right by the main fuse panel under the dash.
I take that back, I had already made a subharness for power windows/locks, so I ran the wiring out the drivers side sub harness I installed.

@tlarimer thanks. Deschlong on a scale 1 through 10 how hard of a project do you think this is ? Before I forget, Are the city lights suppose to stay on when you turn on the headlight..? Or are they suppose to turn off when you turn on your headlights..?
Running it alongside the harness seems ideal as you both point out. Later on if I ever had to sell or part out the car I can take the rare items out.
^ Exactly. So, if this is your first time doing vehicle electrical, then I will put it at a 6 or 7 for you. After you get more experience, it would go down to a 3 or 4. Conveniently, you have all the OEM wiring so you don't need to worry about making stuff the correct lengths. Mostly, you are going to be spending a lot of time fiddling with panels and connectors.
I would also run your wiring out through the accessory firewall hole on the passenger side. There is no need to pass through the original wiring harness grommet; this is not even possible to access if your car has A/C (unless you want to drain recover it, then refill). On the driver's side, you can send it through the original grommet. I used something that came from Home Depot that was stiff enough to poke through the grommet, but had a hole in the centre to pass the wires through. Think, "very strong straw-like thing". Check in plumbing.

Thanks I will check it out. I'm going to have some help. Also will have you guys to help if I run into any issues. Appreciate all the information.
