EJ8 Front clip question
Ok so a few months back a guy in a longbed Dodge backed into the front of my EJ8 and crumpled the hood and bent the front clip on the passenger side (the front end that the radiator, headlights, grill and bumper+ bumper support attach to)
I got a hood from a junkyard off of a 97 civic
my headlights are crooked where my passenger side light aims a lot lower to the road then the driver side and my hood is crooked and leans to the passenger side a lot rather then center and it also has an "overbite" in the front. it latches secure but it's annoying as ****.
I have a replacement clip on hand ( brand new never used) and want to know if replacing that front clip is as easy as it appears it would be to change or if I should have a local body shop replace it for the $250 i was quoted for them to change it, the problem with that though is my car would be out of commission for 3-4 days while they did the work.
