Default 94 si died and came back

I was driving around earlier today and stopped at my house to grab something when my car seemed to stall when I was trying to park it. It was kind of odd because it shouldn't have stalled, when I tried starting it again it would crank, turn over, and then die as soon as it turned over. I did this about 5 times before letting it rest for a few minutes, and then it started right up.

I have a completely stock 94 si aside from a vx tranny. There's no check engine light and aside from a ps leak I don't know of anything that's wrong with it. This really worries me because this is my dd and I need it for work. Any and all help is appreciated

Any recent maintenance items replaced?

Start off by checking your mechanical timing, as well as your spark.

Do you hear the fuel pump prime when put the switch when only cranks? Check the Main relay if not.

If you hear the pump check for spark, if not spark are present check the ICM.

Both are prom to fail and work again after cool for a while.

Only recent maintenance is I replaced the passenger axle a few weeks ago. I could hear the fuel pump come on, and I know I was getting a spark because it turned over but died literally a second after it did. I've heard that if the fuel pump is bad it just goes, there's no sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, is that true?

I'll have to take it to someone to check the timing so that may not be for a couple days. Could it be bad wires, distributer?

When you turn the switch to ONII the CEL come on for two seconds and turn off?

Try to start it again, when she died let the switch in ONII and jump the service connector. Maybe you can pull some code with out turn off the switch.

There is no cel on carlos, the car seems to run fine now but I'm still worried about it. I'm going to try to get the timing checked mon and hopefully there's nothing to major going on with it. Any other idea's on what this could be?

So it started raining yesterday and I had 2 run out for a couple things and one of my belts started squeaking really bad but on and off for about 5 min then stopped. I drove it a little later on and no squeaking.

probably hit a puddle and water hit your belt/pully that does happen frequently in wet conditions i would suppose.
