Low vibration rumbling in motor after dumping clutch
Okay have a 98 spec r type r motor in my 94 teggy. Dumped it down to third from 5th and it revved to high so i quickly disengaged it and put back in 5th. Then i smelt the infamous burning smell through the vents. I assume i burnt the clutch. Problem is i have hasport motor mounts and the billet mounts for torque mounts so already my car vibrates alot. But since then it's making a loud low level vibration sound. No CEL and it idles perfectly and it still shifts through gears and rpms fine but sounds like **** to me. I already have a distributor o ring leak I'm fixing this weekend. Any ideas? Let me know if you need more info.
Well it turns out my clutch is starting to slip at 3500 rpms in first n second gear. It's a stock type r so I need some opinions. Every stage 1 or 2 racing clutch. The most I'm gonna do is skunk 2 tuner cams and gears and spring valves retainers. Thoughts?
