removed adapter by hammering in lightly a piece of wood into the adapter and spinning it of normally.
QUESTION IS: is it possible to drive an automatic with a clutch pedal assembly. Thanks
im guestimating it is..
im just concerned about the relay and the wiring.. will it be that i can only start the
engine with the "clutch" in
or will it also be looking if its in gear?

Short answer is yes, you can physically install a clutch pedal assembly/clutch master cylinder in the car while still retaining the automatic transmission setup...just so long as you DONT cut into your harness yet/ DONT try to wire up the clutch switch(es)/ and LEAVE the interlock relay that blocks the clutch pedal mount points plugged in and pushed to the side. it might be a good idea to swap out your auto brake pedal with the manual one...the auto gets VERY close to the clutch pedal otherwise, and can cause a bind-up with your foot.
just leave any wiring needed for the auto->manual swap until you actually get the swap happening.
also, when you get around to swapping/wiring, here's something i put together when i did mine. http://www.d-series.org/forums/diy-f...nual-swap.html
i apologize for a link to another tech forum, but it just happens to be where i started. hope all this helps.

Thank you. I was actualy thinking of something similar. Thanks again and for the confirmation. I appreciate it!
And great write up!
Just figured out my engine is obd2 but is going to be ran as obd1... Was getting a headache looking over all the sensors and research. Looks like I'm good for now.

Im confused as to What obd version it is.. I think it's an obd2 since it has the crank sensor wiring
(not sure whether a or b)
kind of stuck now since the guy i purchased from did a horrible job with the wiring.. trying to figure out where everything goes too... just stuck on 4 wires..
red with blueline
and solid black
another is a bit thicker all black but inside there is wire-red with blue line
inbetween those two wires there is a bald wire running back to who knows where... guess i have to start a build thread
