I have a 1994 Honda Accord EX 4 Speed Auto with 216,xxx on chassis and unknown on engine. This is my first honda so Im new to this. This is what happened.

I was racing a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 5 speed (I won by the way) and the next morning i went to cruisse on the freeway and when it would shift it would accelerate up to 3000 rpms in 1st and shift fine, then when going into third it would bounce straight from 3500-4000 rpms straight to 5000 rpms and stay there for a few seconds then shift into third. then it would immediately after shifting into thrid bounce from 3500 rpms to 6500 rpms and shift sometimes not even shift and white/grey smoke would be shooting out my tail pipe.

The car does not leak anything. no water in the oil. transmission gear solenoid is good. new plugs, wires, valve cover gasket and spark plug seals, fresh tranny, oil and break change. starts right up no problem.

Really need some help. appreciate all advice in advance. sorry if this is a dumb question or no brainer

 

sounds like you cooked the transmission. what do you think?

 

Anything that comes out of the tailpipe is an engine problem, not transmission.

94_accordex you will need to verify that there is no damage to the engine. Start with a compression check. If there is damage to the engine this will affect how the sensors read. Notably if you have reversion it may cause a pressure differential change in the intake which will affect MAP sensor output readings. ECU/TCU will see a low vacuum as a high load and may command a downshift. The transmission output is a reaction of sensor inputs.

Unless you have never changed/maintained the fluid in the AT there is no reason to suspect it as fault.
