Default Y8 manifold on y7 head

Ok guys i knw theres tons of info on this swap and ive done it b4 but for some reason im stumped right now.got a y8 intake manifold of a 00 civic auto and put the y7 trotthle body so i wouldnt have to mess with the wires just extend them and my car idles all the way to 4000...no leaks.tried a manual y8 manifold same with the y7 tb and plugged the rear iacv to use the one on the tb y7 amd still spikes up to 4000...wtf am i doing wrong?any help would be appreciated thanks

I changed it to a 5 speed y8 manifold and it idles at 2000 now but when i disconnect the tps and map its perfect,but once i turn it off and back on its back at 2000.

d the y 8 manifold im using now dsnt have the air injection holes.

vac leak? spray carb cleaner around vac connections, check for a change in idle.

You have a vac. leak or your TPS/MAP sensor plugs are reversed.

The y7 gasket.seems to be no leaks.the car runs and idles good if I disconnect the map and tps sencor.

You should be using the gasket for the Intake manifold you are using.

Start there, You could have also mixed up the TPS and MAP plugs and plugged them into the wrong sensors.

y7/y8 use the same felpro gasket.

OP hasn't specified what year IM he's using, 99-00 auto and manual both have AIR holes and use different IM gasket than 96-98 Y8/96-00 Y7.

I have a. 99 auto y8 manifold. I got it all done 2day guys. Thanks for all the imput.i re started all over and tore it dwn and tried it again and came out good this time.only thing that i did do was plug that bottom hole inside the tb wich from wat ive heard some people dnt have to do that.still confused but my car is running right now

Ok I tought I had it but guess not.i checked and I have no vac leaks at all.all the injector plugs are plugged.but now it surges from 2000 to 1000.wat can it be?been at it since Monday and it's driving me crazy now.

Now i got it.thanks guys turns out the tb gasket autozone game me was not like the oem one.put the original one on and fixxed all my problems.
