Y8 manifold on y7 head
Ok guys i knw theres tons of info on this swap and ive done it b4 but for some reason im stumped right now.got a y8 intake manifold of a 00 civic auto and put the y7 trotthle body so i wouldnt have to mess with the wires just extend them and my car idles all the way to 4000...no leaks.tried a manual y8 manifold same with the y7 tb and plugged the rear iacv to use the one on the tb y7 amd still spikes up to 4000...wtf am i doing wrong?any help would be appreciated thanks
I changed it to a 5 speed y8 manifold and it idles at 2000 now but when i disconnect the tps and map its perfect, but once i turn it off and back on its back at 2000.

You should be using the gasket for the Intake manifold you are using.
Start there, You could have also mixed up the TPS and MAP plugs and plugged them into the wrong sensors.
