Only ones I know near here are the ifo events: two in Columbus, one in Pittsburg, and one in Albany. And honda day. Any others that I'm missing that are within a few hrs of central pa? Thanks
IFO race at Capitol in MD March 30, OGS Races at Englishtown (May, June and October), NJ (Raceway Park) and the iRev races at MIR June 8 & August 24.
Maple Grove IFO has been cancelled.

I wonder if it will be a 1/4 mile? I may have a hard time stopping there now. It been a few years since I've been there. I liked the track but a little far to drive for a test and tune.
Yea for 1/4 I would think you would really have to get chute out quick. I've been 135 there and you really have to be one the breaks pretty hard
I use to race the MSRA event they put on in 06-07. I raced in the street tired class. I tried to tech my car in with a chute and they told me the class didn't allow chutes because it was for "street cars". I said "this car goes over 150mph" tech guy looked at me and said "yeah sure it does"

i saw they don't even have the friday night street races anymore. just test n tunes now. i never got to do the street nights before and was really looking forward to it this year. so much for that idea i guess. really wish they'd get some import inspired events going on there. would be a nice change (not that i don't like the muscle cars)

but i'm done with that rant. i'll def try to make a few of the saturday nights this year
that worked. thanks!
You have that everywhere you go when ur an import guy unless u go to an import race. It's fun to sit back and watch them eat their words thou
well of course it wouldn't be directed towards imports. they're way too biased down there. one of the times i went down last year, my friend was watching from the side for each of my runs. he kept standing in the same place each time around the same people. my first run as i was staging, the guys around him were talkin **** cuz i was in an import, sayin it won't make it down the track, it'll be slow, blah blah blah. my first two runs we slow (street tires, never ran on track before). but as soon as i bolted on slicks, i dropped over a full second. the guys continued to run the mouth, though not quite as much. then i dropped into the 12's and they were silent. not a word. my friend just smirked at them and walked away. i know 12's isn't fast these days, but my car showed steady improvement every time i ran that night and i feel that is what shut the guys up. i'm just sick of them not accepting that we can do it too. it gets old. we're doing the same thing, just with a different platform.
