Just picked up a 1995 1 owner Civic EX with 11,202 miles from a die hard "American cars only guy". His father had passed away a few months earlier, the insurance and registration were due and he just did not want it. Cost: $2,800 ... color me HAPPY! Now, to get this car back to Nor Cal and go through her carefully.

Yes original miles all. Everything still works, cassette player, AC, clock no squeaks or rattles, engine is clean and original etc. Its a 5 speed with ABS. Seems this guys dad only used this car to commute a few blocks and go grocery shopping he said. She has been garaged all her life and was never driven in snow! No accidents, door dings or dents. Not a thing wrong with this car. Built in December of 94 his father bought her new in January of 95. Im going through her and replacing the timing belt to be safe as well as all the belts and hoses.

$2k for a 11k mile car? Seems fishy. That is an amazing deal. It's hard to find one with 150k for that price. That's just a steal and a half if it's all true.

 

Im going to leave her "as is". Not doing anything but replace the items I mentioned. Routine maintenance items only.

Odometer pics! Other wise very nice find my friend! I'm glad to see your not going to build it (destroy it with worthless crap) make it a thread with what you replace. Folks like me still like reading these even if the car is stock.
